For one and a half years, I worked as the lead visual and UI/UX designer, shaping the digital and visual identity of Health Equity Matters across multiple touchpoints

I helped transform complex public health information into accessible, engaging, and inclusive experiences for diverse communities. From redesigning the organization's website and crafting intuitive user journeys to developing custom illustrations, annual reports, awareness campaigns, branding assets, and communication materials, I built a consistent visual language that reflected the organization's mission of improving health equity.

Building a Unified Brand

Throughout my journey at Health Equity Matters, I helped strengthen the organization's visual identity by creating a cohesive branding system across both digital and print. From brand applications and marketing collateral to merchandise and campaign assets, every design followed a consistent visual language. This approach ensured every touchpoint reflected the organization's mission while building trust, recognition, and lasting impact.

Meaningful Digital Experiences

I led the UI/UX design of the Health Equity Matters website, transforming complex public health information into intuitive and accessible digital experiences. From user research and information architecture to responsive interfaces and scalable design systems, every decision focused on improving usability, accessibility, and clarity. The result was a seamless experience that empowered users to discover trusted health resources with confidence.

Communicating Through Design

Beyond the website, I designed annual reports, awareness campaigns, educational resources, publications, flyers, and event materials that translated research into engaging visual stories. By combining thoughtful typography, custom illustrations, structured layouts, and accessible communication, I helped simplify complex health topics while maintaining consistency across every publication and campaign.

Growing as a Multidisciplinary Designer

Working at Health Equity Matters expanded my expertise far beyond interface design. I gained hands-on experience in branding, editorial design, design systems, accessibility, typography, color strategy, custom illustration, campaign design, and visual storytelling. Most importantly, I learned how purposeful design can create meaningful experiences that educate communities, inspire trust, and drive positive social impact.
